Demo Versions

The following demo versions are fully functional, free of charge program versions. In most cases the functionality for saving projects is disabled, all other functions are usable without any restrictions.
Some demo versions only run for 30 days. Please read the instructions carefully for each program which can be found under "Description".
You can install the demos on as many computers as you like, it is also allowed to distribute the demos (as long as you provide them free of charge to other people).

HTBasic for Windows 9.5 Demo

Description:
Current version 9.5. TransEra HTBasic for Windows requires a 386/486 or Pentium processor, Windows 98/Me or Windows NT/2000/XP and at least 16 megabytes memory (32MB recommended). Download the self-extracting file HTBasic95d.exe to a temporary directory and start the file HTBasic95d.exe. Follow the instructions on the screen. MS Office Interface Demo v2.1 (Interface with Excel, Access etc.)

Description:
This is a fully functional version of the MS Office Interface for HTBasic which provides real-time access to Excel sheets, Access databases etc. The MS Office Interface can be used to control other Windows applications via DDE (dynamic data exchange). HTBasic for Windows 8.0 or higher is required. Download the self-extracting installation archive

HTBasic for Windows 9.5 Runtime Demo

Description:
Runtime demo version 9.5. TransEra HTBasic for Windows Runtime requires a 386/486 or Pentium processor, Windows 98/me or Windows NT/2000/XP and at least 16 megabytes memory (32MB recommended). Download the self-extracting file HTBasic95rd.exe to a temporary directory and start the file HTBasic95rd.exe. Follow the instructions on the screen.

DAQmx for HTBasic Library Demo 1.4

Description:
Demo version 1.4 of the DAQmx for HTBasic Library Driver. Requires HTBasic 9.0 or higher, NI-DAQmx 8.0 or higher. Download the self-extracting file DAQmx_htb_demo_setup.exe to a temporary directory and start the file DAQmx_htb_demo_setup.exe. Follow the instructions on the screen.

RmbWin Extender Demo

Description:
Demo version 1.2. Requires HTBasic for Windows 5.2 and higher or HP BASIC for Windows 6.3 and higher.
Download the zip archive rmbwinext-demo.zip to a temporary directory and extract the archive (e.g. using WinZip). After unzipping the files start the file setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.

Rmb2Html Demo Version

Description:
This is the fully functional trial version of the Code Analyzer Rmb2HTML. It runs 30 days after it has been installed. If the trial period of 30 days has been expired the trial version can not be started or re-installed anymore.
Download the self-extracting installation archive rmb2trl.exe and start it. Follow the instructions on the screen.

HTBasic 386 Demo

Description:
TransEra HTBasic for DOS requires a 386/486 or Pentium processor, MS-DOS version 5.0 or above and at least 2 megabytes of memory (4 megabytes if run under Windows 3.1x and 8 megabytes if run under Windows 95/98).
Download the file htbdemo.zip, unzip it to a temporary directory and start the file install.bat (read the instructions in the file readme.1st before).



Updates and Hotfixes

The following HTBasic software updates are usually executable installation files, protected with a password in order to prevent unathorized copying.
 Please note that these software updates are normally not free of charge  (exception: customers with a service contract). Please also read the additional notes under "Description" for each download.
Before you download the updates make sure you have the required password. You can obtain the password by email only. Please send us the serial number of your existing HTBasic version or the order number of your HTBasic update order. After we have approved the serial number details we send you the password and a new serial number by email.

HTBasic for Windows Release 9.5

Hotfix for MS Office Interface for HTBasic v2.0

Hotfix for MS Office Interface for HTBasic v2.0 (only for users of Version 2.0.1 R1a from 02-May-2006). Download the file dde2-hotfix01.exe. Then send an email to Support (HTB@TechSoft.de). Include the serial number of your existing version 2.0, you will then receive a password to unpack the file. For more information click here.

Serial Driver for HTBasic 9.3

Description:
The original HTBasic 9.3 installation CDs do not contain the serial driver for version 9.3. In order to be able to use the custom baud rates with HTBasic 9.3 as advertised you can download this new serial driver version 9.3.
Replace the original driver serial.dw6 in your HTBasic program directory with this new driver.

SICL Driver Update for HTBasic 8.3

Description:
The SICL driver (hpibs.dw6) corrects a EOI detection problem during a TRANSFER. The driver is only intended for HTBasic 8.3. Replace the old driver in your HTBasic directory with this new version.

SICL Driver Update for HTBasic 7.1 and 7.2

Description:
The SICL driver (hpibs.dw6) corrects a timeout problem. It can be used with HTBasic 7.1 and 7.2. Replace the old driver in your HTBasic directory with this new version.
