TAMS next generation PCI GPIO card, the 62622 now supports hyperthreading and  multi-processor configurations.  TAMS 62622 replaces the TAMS 61622 GPIO interface and is based on HP’s original definition of the 98622 GPIO standard. 

The TAMS card is a superset of the HP/Agilent interfaces and meets all the original specifications.  It can operate with the original code, but also adds the full functionality of the HP E2074/5 enhanced mode to give bi-directional data and auxiliary status and control lines.  Features bi-directional polling and configurable PCTL delay. You can use the TAMS card with any application that was developed for HP/Agilent cards.


Software Compatibility
Whether you are using HTBasic, HP-VEE, HP BASIC for Windows or programming in ‘C’ with the SICL library your code will run at full performance without modification. 


GPIO Cable
Because the TAMS 62622 GPIO card uses a compatible connector, either an existing HP cable or a new cable may be used. A matching ten foot cable with a connector attached to one end and open wires on the other is available to fill various cable and interfacing needs.
