Hyperthreading and multi-processor configurations
TAMS next generation PCI GPIO card, the 62622 now supports hyperthreading and multi-processor configurations.
TAMS 62622 replaces the TAMS 61622 GPIO interface and is based on HP’s original definition of the 98622 GPIO standard.
The
TAMS card is a superset of the HP/Agilent interfaces and meets all the original
specifications. It can operate with the original code, but also adds the full
functionality of the HP E2074/5 enhanced mode to give bi-directional data and
auxiliary status and control lines. Features bi-directional polling and
configurable PCTL delay. You can use the TAMS card with any application that was
developed for HP/Agilent cards.
Software Compatibility
Whether you are using HTBasic, HP-VEE, HP BASIC for Windows or programming in
‘C’ with the SICL library your code will run at full performance without
modification.
GPIO Cable
Because the TAMS 62622 GPIO card uses a compatible connector,
either an existing HP cable or a new cable may be used. A matching ten foot
cable with a connector attached to one end and open wires on the other is
available to fill various cable and interfacing needs.
